Thanks to the success of its educational concerts in 2016, the OFJ will present the Suite coreográfica para flauta y orquesta (Choreographic Suite for Flute and Orchestra), based on a famous Grimm Brothers tale, The Pied Piper of Hamelin, by Mexican composer Eduardo Angulo.  These performances form part of the OFJ series “Ballet 2017”.  Flautist Miguel Ángel Villanueva will be the soloist, and the baton will be wielded by famed Mexican conductor Jesús Medina.  The production features the participation of the Ballet de Jalisco under its director, Dariusz Blajer.
