First Orchestra Season 2019, Teatro Degollado.
The main feature of our first program for 2019 is Tchaikovsky`s Fifth Symphony, probably his most interesting symphony because of its expert management and development of the principal themes and motives, along with its explosions of Slavic passion. It will be complemented by the subtle, elegant, nationalist impressionism of the Moncayo Sinfonietta and the dazzling, outrageous pyrotechnics of Paganini`s “diabolical” Concerto No. 1 for Violin and Orchestra, in the capable hands of soloist Alexander Markov.
