Felix Mendelssohn, considered the most “Classical” of the romantic composers, worked in all of the available forms of his period. As a result, such masterpieces as his Violin Concerto have become obligatory pieces in the musical literature. Our interpretation of the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto will feature the talents of the accomplished Spanish violinist Leticia Moreno, a summa cum laude graduate of London´s Guildhall School of Music and Drama (with the highest marks in that institution’s history), and prizewinner in the 2005 International Fritz Kreisler Competition in Vienna.
