THE OFJ IS READY TO RETURN WITH A SPECIAL CONCERT
After a brief break for the December holidays, the Jalisco Philharmonic Orchestra (OFJ) will begin its 2022 activities with the OFJ 2022 Year Start Concert that will be offered next Sunday, January 30 at 12:30 p.m. at the José Pablo Theater Moncayo, at the Palace of Culture and Communication (PALCCO).
In it they present the most festive melodies of famous composers such as Johan Strauss son, Gioachino Rossini, Tchaikovsky, Brahms and more.
Tickets to attend the programs of this festival are available in the Ticketmaster system with a cost ranging from 165 to 280 pesos.
Overture The Thieving Magpie by Gioachino Rossini, The Emperor's Waltz, Op. 437, Vergnügungszug (Polkaschnell), op. 281 and the opera overture The Bat by Johann Strauss; the Waltz from the suite Sleeping Beauty by Tchaikovsky, the Waltz Over the Waves by Juventino Rosas, God Never Dies by Macedonio Alcalá, Hungarian March No. 5 by Johannes Brahms and the William Tell Overture by Gioachino Rossini, are some of the performances that they can be enjoyed.
According to the organizers and following the measures authorized by the State Government Health Board, they will request a vaccination certificate against Covid-19 or a negative PCR test valid for no more than 48 hours.
Through a statement, they assure that PALCCO will have all the protocols to take care of the health of the attendees, who are asked to respect the appropriate distance measures, use antibacterial gel on their hands and wear a face mask during the concert.
