The Philharmonic Orchestra premieres its first concert season 2022
According to a statement from the Ministry of Culture, the Jalisco Philharmonic Orchestra (OFJ) has prepared a season of select works accompanied by the participation of soloists and directors of international quality that start on the night of Thursday, February 17.
In the inaugural program of this First Season 2022, the Jalisco Philharmonic Orchestra begins its performances by celebrating the 225th anniversary of the birth of Franz Schubert (1797-1828) and the 125th death anniversary of Johannes Brahms.

Under the baton of its Principal Conductor, José Luis Castillo, this program begins with the Overture in C major by Fanny Mendelssohn, one of the most talented musical women of the 19th century, who composed nearly four hundred works, this overture being one of her most famous works.
Afterwards, a theme by the most classical composer of the romantic period and one of his most recognized works will be performed. It is about Brahms and Haydn's Variations on a Theme, Op. 56.

Access to the venue will be 30 minutes in advance. It is essential to present an anti-Covid vaccination certificate or a negative PCR test valid for no more than 48 hours.
