JALISCO PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA BEGINS TOUR THROUGH JALISCO MUNICIPALITIES
As part of the actions to decentralize culture in the state and with the aim that music reaches everyone in the state, the Jalisco Philharmonic Orchestra (OFJ) will travel during September to three municipalities in different regions, to offer free entry functions, and prior to its third and final season of 2022.
Fulfilling the commitment that was raised in this administration, to bring orchestral music to the 12 regions of Jalisco, this September the OFJ will arrive in Amacueca, Jalostotitlán and Cajititlán.
The program will consist of the Symphony in C major by Manianne Von Martínez, Homage to Cervantes by José Pablo Moncayo and Symphony number 5 by Franz Schubert.
The first of these presentations during the national month will take place on September 7 at 6:00 p.m. in the Temple of Dulce Nombre de Jesús, in the municipality of Amacueca, under the baton of José Luis Castillo.
On September 22, it is Jalostotitlán's turn. At 7:00 p.m., the Parish of Our Lady of the Assumption will be the venue where the public will enjoy this concert that will be under the baton of Mtro. Enrique Radillo, Deputy Director of the OFJ.
On September 23, the OFJ arrives in Tlajomulco to perform at the Church of Cajititlán at 5:00 p.m., where Enrique Radillo will conduct the concert that closes this tour through municipalities, the second of the year for this group.
With these visits, there are already seven regions of Jalisco that have received the OFJ. As you may remember, last May the group gave performances in Jocotepec, Tizapán El Alto and San Gabriel.
