Soloist impacts the Guadalajara audience at the beginning of the OFJ season!
The violinist Shari Manson achieved a great performance with her violin at the opening of the third season of the OFJ at the emblematic Teatro Degollado.
To kick off the third and final season of the Jalisco Philharmonic Orchestra, Shari Manson, solo violinist, was invited to perform a prodigious piece, which stood out during this Sunday evening. Manson is one of the leading Mexican performers of her generation and she showcased her talent, agility and her love of music during the season opener.
Under the baton of the artistic director and in the hands of the talented violinist, Shari Manson, they began the second piece of the program, the Violin Concerto no. 1, op. 19 by composer Sergei Prokofiev. The work composed with 19th century Romanticism and its 20th century tinted second movement highlights the intention of the piece, which premiered after one of the most complicated years in Russian history, and we can understand the complexity of it.
As if it were a third arm, Manson takes his violin to make a spectacular interpretation, between the splendid changes of positions, even the harmonics and the pizzicato together with a bow on the strings, he manages to give it the intention of the piece it deserves. The accompaniment of the Jalisco Philharmonic Orchestra manages to be impeccable for the nuances that the soloist gives, the team made by all the musicians provoke a theater full of history and music.
Without a doubt, the soloist's interpretation managed to put all the people from Guadalajara on their feet, as Mason's nature and confidence on stage achieved a splendid start to the third season.
