As part of the celebration of the Centennial of its foundation, the OFJ is launching a recital series which spotlights some of its most prestigious soloists. The first of these presentations features Maestro JORGE FEDERICO OSORIO on Saturday, February 21st at 8:30 PM in the Teatro Degollado. This recital will coincide with the fiftieth anniversary of Maestro Osorio’s first stage debut, which in fact took place in the very same city of Guadalajara in 1965.
In the aforementioned recital, Maestro Osorio will offer Modest Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition in its original versión, along with the Sixth sonata for piano by Sergei Prokófiev and a few surprises…
